Raffle Information:

All Prizes:

• Ticket Price: $25 per ticket (+payment processing fees of 2.7% + 30c per ticket)

• Raffle tickets may only be purchased by people 18 years of age or older. 

• All elements of the prize package are non-refundable, and non-transferable. They are not redeemable for cash (unless otherwise stated). 

• No more than 6,000 tickets will be sold. Only purchased raffle tickets will be entered into the draw.

• Entries are non-refundable once purchased. 

• The organisers are not liable for any loss, damage (direct or consequential), or injury to any person in connection with the promotion. 

• Should the raffle be cancelled, all ticket holders will be notified using the contact details provided and only the ticket costs will be reimbursed in full. The organiser reserves the right to cancel the raffle. 

• A minimum of 1,800 tickets must be sold before 12pm on Tuesday 16th September 2025  (the expiry of the promotion period) for the prize draw to go ahead, If less than 1,800 tickets are sold before the close of the promotion period, the raffle will not be drawn, the raffle will be cancelled and all ticket holders will be contacted via email and all ticket costs refunded. 

• For avoidance of doubt if the ticket sales exceed 1,800 tickets by 12pm on Tuesday 16th September 2025 (the expiry of the promotion period) all three prizes 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be offered as prizes in the draw. 

• Purchasers by participating (and the winners by accepting the prizes) release Whānau and Friends of Clyde Quay School Inc. the organiser, Clyde Quay School, the beneficiary, and its respective Boards, and volunteers from any and all liability with respect to the participation in the promotion and possession and use of the prize. 

• Any liability of Whānau and Friends of Clyde Quay School Inc shall be limited to the ticket amount paid and in the case of any dispute, Whānau and Friends of Clyde Quay School Inc's decision shall be final.

1st Prize  Winner:

• Winner must be available to travel to Thailand to claim the prize on 1st – 9th  November 2025.

• Winner must be able to fly from an airport in New Zealand on 1st or 2nd  November 2025 (depending on flights) in order to be in Thailand to claim accommodation for 6 nights on the dates of 2nd- 8th  November 2025 returning to New Zealand on 8th or 9th November 2025 (subject to flight availability at time of booking). 

• The dates of travel to Thailand may be changed at the sole discretion of organiser WAF Inc. In the event that the winner wishes to travel on alternative dates, this will be subject to availability and may be subject to price fluctuations. In these circumstances the winner is responsible for any increased costs of flights and accommodation for their preferred dates that exceed the quoted prize value. For avoidance of doubt WAF Inc is not liable and will not pay for any increase in cost over and above the quoted prize value (for the hotel accommodation is not exceeding $13,344.00 and flights not exceeding $6,468.00 plus regional flights (if required). WAF Inc will not pay for any increase in costs of accommodation or flights arising from the winner’s request to change the dates of travel. The winner will be responsible for any costs over and above this value as a result of their request to change the dates. 

• Should the winner not require airport transfers or regional flight with NZ, the value allocated for these will be given to the winner as additional spending money.

• Passports, visas, all beverages, any additional meals, additional spending money, transfers and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. 

• Travel Insurance is not included but is strongly recommended. 

• It is the prize winner’s responsibility to ensure they and their travel companion have met all the correct health and visa requirements for travel to their transit and final destinations including meeting the criteria to obtain a visa for entry to Thailand.

• Prize is for two adults (or one adult and one child).

• The organisers are not liable and no refunds will be provided in the event that the winners cannot attend due to circumstances outside of organisers control including but not limited to travel delays, weather, missed connections, natural disaster, illness, etc. 

• WAF Inc and organiser have no responsibility or liability for the prize, (flights, hotel bookings, vouchers, spending money) once these have been transferred to the winner and are in the winners possession. 

• Winner must claim the prize by 5pm 23rd September 2025, in order to claim the holiday. If the 1st prize remains unclaimed by 5pm 23rd September 2025, the holiday will be sold and proceeds of the sale will be available to the winner.

2nd & 3rd Prize Winners.

• Prize Packages will be sent via courier to the winner at a New Zealand address. 

Donations:

• All donations are non-refundable. 

• As WAF CQS Inc is a Registered Charity with donee status all donations may qualify for a tax-credit.

• (I) This raffle is run by Whānau and Friends of Clyde Quay School Incorporated.

• (II) Organiser: Phernne Tancock c/- Clyde Quay School 27 Elizabeth Street, Mt Victoria, Wellington on behalf of Whānau and Friends of Clyde Quay School Inc.

• (III) Authorised Purpose: Advancing Education by supporting the learning and environment of students and staff at Clyde Quay School. The proceeds of this raffle will go towards the Clyde Quay School Playground upgrade, and 10% as seed funding for future fundraisers. 

• (IV) The raffle will be drawn online, at 3.15pm Tuesday 16th September 2025 at Clyde Quay School (27 Elizabeth Street, Mt Victoria, Wellington).

• (V) Ticket range 1 – 6,000

• (VI) The Raffle Prize draw will be held via a live prize draw (live on Clyde Quay School Facebook Page) with the Prize Winners contacted by email and phone that afternoon. Advertisements to advise winners will be placed on the Clyde Quay School website, in the Clyde Quay School newsletter on 16th September 2025, the Dominion Post and New Zealand Herald on 18th September 2025. 

• (VII) The value and characteristics of the prizes to be won (see prize details)

• (VIII) The cost of entry: $25 per ticket (+ payment processing fees of 2.7% +30c per transaction)

• (IX) Total number of tickets in the draw – 6,000

• (X) The process for determining winners: The raffle will be drawn online, using  GiveMate’s CSPRNG (Cryptographically Secure Pseudo Random Number Generator) which ensures the selection of a random number. Selection run by Official.
